​1925 (The Foundation): Our legacy began when my grandfather laid the foundation of our rug-making tradition, embedding a commitment to authentic craftsmanship that remains our benchmark today.

​1965 (Global Expansion): The second generation, led by the late Mr. Amar Nath Gupta, transformed our traditional weaving heritage into an international export house. Traveling across the globe, he forged legendary partnerships—most notably with Mr. Jack Harounian in New York—and supplied premier global retailers and importers including Transocean and JCPenney.

​2009–Present (Modern Innovation): Entering as the third generation, I carry forward our family name under the banner of Abhay Oriental Rugs, bridging timeless weaving techniques with modern interior design, bespoke architecture, and global trade demands.
